It may seem a little unsettling to choose from so many schools, which is why we have selected the most important schools in the region.
In the heart of the Sophia Antipolis High-Tech park. Ideally located near the “grandes écoles” Higher Learning Colleges (Skema, Polytech, Inria, etc.) and surrounded by the largest national and international companies, the Valbonne International Center is perfectly located in park-like surroundings accessible from everywhere.

The Mougins International School offers a British curriculum adapted to an international community. Since 1987, the school has been established in an ideal location near the Sophia Antipolis Park, near the historic hilltop village of Mougins, not far from the beaches of Antibes and Cannes and only an hour from the winter sports resorts and the Principality of Monaco.

Founded in 1987, ABC School International is a private bilingual school located in the heart of Nice; close to the Promenade des Anglais, the seaside boulevard leading to all the most beautiful historical monuments and the theatres and cinemas of the city. Ideally located in Nice, the ISN School was founded in 1977 on the French Riviera for families who want an international education. The Nice International School is a private and mixed day school for children from kindergarten to college. In 2017, the school celebrated its 40th anniversary and is proud to position itself as one of the best schools in the French Riviera.
The oldest Montessori school is located in Antibes. It offers places to children from 3 to 12 years of age from kindergarten to primary, with specific education supervised by qualified educators applying the philosophies of Doctor Maria Montessori.
This method of education develops autonomy, listening to, and understanding the needs of others and teaching self-confidence for each child. English is spoken fluently there. Located at the heart of the technological hub of Valbonne Sophia Antipolis, ICS was established to cater to the needs of both local and international families seeking a bilingual and comprehensive educational curriculum on the Côte d’Azur.
In 2018, a partnership was forged with Globeducate to oversee the school and guide its strategic growth. That same year, the school gained approval to implement the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the IB.
In 2019, Apple recognized the institution by granting it the Apple Distinguished School (ADS) status for its pioneering initiatives in the educational sector.
In 2020, a rebranding took place and ICS Côte d’Azur was launched for students aged 3 to 11. The origins of ICS schools date back to 1979, marking the inauguration of the first ICS (International Community School) in central London. Incorporating ICS schools from Paris, Milan, and Nice, Globeducate further solidifies its European footprint through these IB-affiliated institutions.
